From being an affectionate Prerna Bajaj now to a stern disciplinarian her life will be a set of challenges, as she covers her journey playing a lonely widow. This change of attitude, character, persona and perspective will bring about a complete shift in her image from being a loving person to being someone who is completely away from love, and names it as an 'eternal pain'! Prerna, who is now a hard-hearted character, will set up a Gurukul college in Panchmeshwar. In her Gurukul, she will be living an imposed & difficult life along with her 8 grand children (7 girls & a boy) and other students. As a thorough task-master, her Gurukul will be a place of restraint where no concept of love will ever be allowed to enter or exist through her high mounted walls of ideals, principles & restrictions; into the lives of its students. As Prerna's philosophy of life will grow to be, "Love only brings betrayal, you either get betrayed or you betray someone" to her it's a pain of lifetime, 'Pyaar ka dosra naam dard hai'. With her enforced ideologies, she will make sure that no one ever falls in love in her Gurukul, for which she will maintain clear demarcations between the girls & boys sections ensuring that they remain away from interacting with each other. Although known for its strictness, Gurukul will be considered as an institute of high repute, which will is known to produce the best students with highest standards.
